About NPPR (Non-Principal Private Residence)

The Local Government (Charges) Act 2009 has introduced a €200 charge for owners of non principal private residences.  The charge applies mainly to owners of private rental property and holiday homes.  It can also apply to vacant residential properties. more..

Pay for it - Payment Options

1. Pay online

2. In Person at Wexford County Council Finance Office, County Hall, Carricklawn, Wexford.

Please note that the Local Government (Charges) Regulations 2011 require Local Authorities to apply a €10 over the counter charge where people attend in person to pay the NPPR Charge at the offices of the Local Authority.

    Important Note: Cash will not be accepted.  
    Payment is by Cheque, Bank Draft, Postal Order and Credit/Laser  card only.

    Important Note : Payment should be made out to LGCSB NPPR 
    Cheques made out to Wexford County Council cannot be accepted.
