Tempoary Road Closure at Bunclody 2nd Notice

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS
Wexford County Council having given notice on 4th March 2009 of its intention to close the roads listed hereunder to public traffic has decided to close the following roads to public traffic on the following dates:
Wednesday 18th March to Tuesday 28th April 2009
Monday 20th April to Sunday 14th June 2009
Monday 23rd March to Sunday 12th April 2009
to facilitate Bunclody Sewerage Scheme.
Road Closure No 1 : Ryland Road 18th March – 28th April 2009
Road No: N80
Alternative Routes :
Routes: Southbound Traffic: At the Mall will be directed over the Slaney Bridge following R746, turn right on to R725 to Gorey, south on the N11 to Scarawalsh Roundabout and onto the N80 north to Bunclody.
Northbound Traffic: Will be guided left at Ballycarney Cross along the R745 through Ballindaggin onto the R702 and then back towards Bunclody along the R746.

Road Closure No 2 : Kiltealy Road/Irish Street 20th April – 14th June 2009
Road No: R746
Townlands: Newtownbarry
Alternative Route :
Routes: Proceed south on the N80 to Ballycarney. Turn right Ballycarney onto the R745 through Ballindaggin. Turn right onto the R702 at Doran’s Bridge and then back towards Bunclody along the R746.
The road will be diverted at Doran’s Cross.

Road Closure No 3 : Mill Road 23rd March – 12th April 2009
Road No: L2005-1
Townlands: Newtownbarry
Alternative Route :
Routes: Proceed on N80 to its junction with the R746 at Irish Street. Proceed on the R746. Turn right onto L20053-1 at the Half Way House and follow the L2005-2 to Bunclody and visa versa.
Road Nos.: N80, R746, L20053-1, L2005-2/1 and visa versa.
Alternative routes will be signposted. Local access will be facilitated.
