About Roads

The road network in County Wexford consists of:

• National Roads 165 km ( 5%)
• Regional Roads 429 km (13%)
• Local Roads 2749 km (82%)

A total of 223 people are employed in the Department, including 18 in Head Office, 8 in the four Area Offices and 197 outdoor staff.
