WEXFORD COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF RATES HAVING BEEN MADE

COUNTY HEALTH DISTRICT OF WEXFORD

 

Notice is hereby given that the County Rate has been duly made on the property rateable thereto in the County Health District of Wexford.

The Annual Rate on Valuation for the ordinary expenditure of the County Health District for the service of the period commencing on the 1st Day of January 2013 and ending on the 31st Day of December 2013 is 71.52.

(AND WHEREAS THE separate charges specified in Column II of the table below are respectively chargable on the area or contributory place specified therefore in Column I of the said table, the annual rate on valuation specified in Column III of the said table has been made on the appropriate area or contributory place for the payment of every such separate charge and the same forms part of and will be collected with the above general rate in such area or contributory place).

(AND WHEREAS THE annual rate on valuation for town charges specified in Column II of the table below have been made respectively on the town specified in Column I of the said table).

All the said rates will be collected with the above general rate and rate for seperate charges.

The Rate Books are now in my custody and may be inspected by any person affected thereby at the office of Wexford County Council between the hours of 10.00a.m. and 4.00p.m. exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, the said rates will be payable from and after publication of this notice.

Under Section 7 (1) of the Local Government (Financial Provisions) Act, 1978, any person who is aggrieved at the failure of a rating authority to make him an allowance under that Act, or who believes that he is entitled to a different allowance to that made to him, may within two months of the date of making the rate, request that rating authority in writing to grant him the appropriate allowance.

In case the request is not complied with within the 28 days, the person may, within four months of the date of making the rate, apply to the District Court to have the appropriate allowance made.

The above rates were made on the 26th day of February, 2013. Any request in respect of them under Section 7 (1) of the Local Government (Financial Provisions) Act, 1978, must therefore be made to Wexford County Council not later than the 26th day of April, 2013. Any application to the District Court under the same provision must be made not later than the 26th day of June, 2013.
