Pre-planning

 The Planning Department encourages enquiries from developers, architects and members of the public who are preparing a development proposal.  A pre-planning application consultation can be arranged with the Planning staff.  There is no charge for this service

 

You can apply for a meeting by filling out the appropriate pre-planning forms and sending it to the Planning Department or calling the Customer Service unit Tel. 0539196000(Option 2).  Meeting will be arranged shortly after and are normally held at the Planning Department in County Hall, Carricklawn.

 

The carrying out of such consultations shall not prejudice the performance by a Planning Authority of any other of its functions under the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, and cannot be relied upon in the formal Planning process or in legal proceeding.
