Wexford County Council's Motor Taxation Office (MTO) is located at the new County Council Offices at Carricklawn, Wexford, (adjacent to the Wexford General Hospital).
Office opening hours and customer services are set out below. Eligible customers can continue to use the Motor Tax Online service, www.motortax.ie at any time, 24/7.
Motor Tax Details
The MTO Taxes Vehicles and Issues Drivers Licences and provides a range of customer services to facilitate these.

You may post your completed forms to the Motor Tax Office at Carriglawn. Do not put cash into posted envelopes. All post is opened daily, processed and returned the same day when possible. |

Online Taxing: Private and Goods Vehicles. |
Private vehicles and from Nov. 2011 Goods Vehicles can be taxed on-line. Goods Vehicles must have a current Cert. of Road Worthiness (DoE). For light goods vehicles (Up to 3,500 kg.) an RF111a (Declaration of Goods Use Only) must be in place. Use your renewal form RF100B (green form) with the PIN number provided on it. Cash, Cheque, Money Order, Postal Order, Credit and Debit Cards (not American Express.) Postal orders and cheques must be made payable to "Wexford County Council." Please ensure that cheques are crossed "Motor Tax." |

Application forms (except full licence, learner permit and duplicate licence forms) may be downloaded from this website by clicking Application Forms in the right hand panel or click on: Application Forms If you need an application form which is not available on this Website, contact us by phone or by e-mail and we will post it to you immediately. Application forms are also available from the main Reception at Carriglawn, the Council's local offices in Gorey and Enniscorthy, from each Branch Library and your local Garda Station. |
