MOTOR TAXATION OFFICE (MTO)

OFF ROAD DECLARATIONS

Statutory Off Road Declarations (SORD's) must be submitted to the MTO, or done online, BEFORE the expiry of the current Tax period or existing SORD.

For new owners of of vehicles, SORD's must be submitted WITHIN 10 DAYS OF THE DATE OF PURCHASE.

Post can be left in the MTO post box to the left of the Main Reception upon entering County Hall.

Postal Applications:

You may post your completed forms to the Motor Tax Office at the above address in Carricklawn.

Do not put cash into posted envelopes.

 Payment Options:

Cash, Cheque, Money Order, Postal Order, Bank Draft, Credit and Debit Cards (not American Express.)

Postal orders, cheques and bank drafts must be made payable to "Wexford County Council."

Application forms  for motor tax can  be downloaded here or from the Application Forms link in the Left hand panel.

You can get forms from: Main Reception, County Hall, Carricklawn,  Local Council offices in New Ross, Gorey and Enniscorthy, branch libraries and your local Garda Station.
