Fas eLearning
LEARN ONLINE - FREE AT YOUR LOCAL PUBLIC LIBRARY
Survey for Fás e-learning participants
Wexford Library Service and FAS are working together to give online courses,
free of charge, for everyone who would like to improve their computer and
general work skills. A range of courses are offered in all Wexford’s libraries from
late September. Courses include ECDL, Microsoft Word and Excel and finance
fundamentals. Provision is FREE to everyone over 18 years of age.
Intending students can either sign up and work their way through the courses
themselves at a pace and in a place that suits them, OR there are support
workshops twice a week in all the libraries for those who aren’t so confident or
who prefer the sociability of group work.
Introductory computer classes will allow participants to set up an e-mail account,
navigate the internet and learn the basics of computing with a tutor. More
advance e-learners can complete certified Microsoft Office and ECDL courses.
Further online courses include introductions to Accounting, Business Maths,
Digital Media and Project Management. Check out the range at
