Summary: Mike Lyons takes us on a walking tour of Craanford Mill which he has restored to full working order. Mike was born in Craanford and his first memories of the mill are when he was 6. He worked full time as a miller but the use of water power all came to an end with the arrival of electricity. The building became a ruin but Mike’s hard work and resolve has saved it for future generations to appreciate. At times during the interview the sound of the 200 year old metal gear wheels and rushing water is almost overpowering as Mike takes us through the milling process.
