Services
The Social Work team deliver services in the following areas

By responding to referrals made by elected members, colleagues, other statutory and voluntary agencies and the general public.

To ensure that vulnerable people are identified by the Housing Officers in the Assessment of Need and are informed and advised appropriately of options and services suited to their needs.

To promote family life and community development by providing ongoing support to tenants through home visits and attendance at residents association meetings.

To help reduce the extent and effects of social segregation.

To enable a prompt and adequate response to accommodation needs of homeless people.

To assist in the provision of suitable housing and halting site accommodation for the Travelling Community.

To promote the provision of accommodation that respects the person’s cultural identity and is suitable to their long term needs.
