Dog Licences

If you are a dog owner, you are legally required to have a dog licence.
Dog licences are available from Receipts Office, County Hall, Wexford, or any Post Office at a fee of  €12.70 each.  A General Licence can also be purchased from County Hall, Wexford, or the G.P.O. Dublin, for €253.95.

Owners of unlicenced dogs may be liable for an on-the-spot-fine of €30.00.
In the event of non-payment of the fine, the owner may face prosecution and a possible penalty of €1270.00

There were over 10,000 dog licences issued in Wexford this year.
