APPLICATION TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY FOR A WASTE WATER DISCHARGE LICENCE.

Notice is hereby given that Wexford County Council, County Hall, Wexford, Co. Wexford, Telephone No. 053 9176500, proposes to seek approval from the Environmental Protection Agency for a Wastewater Discharge Licence for the existing Bunclody Wastewater Treatment Plant at Ryland Road, Bunclody, Co. Wexford and the proposed new Bunclody Wastewater Treatment Plant at Ryland Upper, Bunclody, Co. Wexford.
The existing development consists of a Wastewater Treatment Plant at Ryland Road, Bunclody, Co. Wexford (Grid Ref: 291558E 156595N), and the proposed new Wastewater Treatment Plant on a new site at Ryland Upper, Bunclody, Co. Wexford (Grid Ref: 292134E 155679N), to treat sewage generated in Bunclody town and its Environs including parts of County Carlow. The primary discharge point (to the River Slaney) is to be located at Grid Ref: 292220E 155732N. The secondary discharge points (to the River Slaney) are located at Grid Ref: 291586E 156570N and 291629E 156607N respectively.
The application for a Wastewater Discharge Licence alongside any other information pertaining to the Wastewater Discharge Licence, will be made available for inspection or purchase from the Environmental Protection Agency as soon as is practicable after receipt by the Agency.
