Automated pay stations are in operation at Holmestown Waste Management Facility. Payment by cash or credit card only. Laser cards are not accepted. A wide range of waste material from cardboard to plastic bottles to fridges and cookers can be brought to the Holmestown Household Recycling Centre free of charge. Telephone the Environment Section for more information (053-9196313).
Customers are requested to have the exact fee ready when paying for waste.
Please Note loads deemed to be in excess of 20 Bags or equivalent volume shall be weighed and charged at €186.75 per tonne .
Recyclable Material is free of charge in domestic quantities only. For a list of accepted items please click on the link at the bottom of this page.
Please ensure all recyclable material is separated from your household waste and deposited in the appropriate receptacles.
