Price Schedule 2010

Wexford County Council regrets to advise customers of Holmestown Waste Management Facility (Recycling Centre and Landfill) that in accordance with the Finance Act 2010 that the Council is now legally obliged to charge VAT at 13.5% across its landfill charges to domestic and commercial customers. The following new charges shall apply from Thursday 1^st July 2010 for landfill waste at Holmestown Waste Management Facility;

Refuse Sack	€6.00
Car  (Maximum 5 bags)	€23.00
Single Axle Trailer / Car Van / Estate Car (Maximum 12 bags or equivalent volume )	€57.00
Double Axle Trailer/Large Van/ Horse box (Maximum 20 bags or equivalent volume)	€90.00

Please Note loads deemed to be in excess of 20 Bags or equivalent volume shall be weighed and charged at €164.05 (*incl. Levy) per tonne .

*The levy is currently €34.05 per tonne

 Recyclable Material is free of charge, for a list of accepted items please click on the link at the bottom of this page.

Please ensure all recyclable material is separated from your household waste and deposited in the appropriate receptacles.

Customers are requested to have the exact fee ready when paying for waste.

Prepaid Tickets will be accepted until Saturday, 28^th February, 2009.

The opening hours for the Landfill and Recycling Centre are as follows:

Monday – Friday, 8.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.
Saturday, 9.00 a.m. -12.30p.m.

Certain items are accepted for recycling free of charge, in domestic quantities only.
