Application Fees

There is no fee for requesting environmental information or for an internal review application.

A standard fee of €150 must accompany an appeal to the Commissioner for Environmental Information.  A reduced fee of €50 applies if you are either covered by a medical card or are a dependent of somebody covered by a medical card, or you are a third party appealing a decision to release information which you believe will affect you.

Search and Retrieval and Copying Fees

The AIE Regulations allow us to charge you for making available environmental information.

Fees for search, retrieval and copying of records are as follows:

• €20.95 per hour spent searching for information;
• €0.04 per page for a photocopy.

A fee for search and retrieval and photocopying may be waived where the cost is estimated at less than €10.
