Devise a funding plan in advance – be prepared for the funding deadlines

Good research and target the correct area for funding –  use correct supporting material 

Prepare a good proposal (USP - What's unique about your organization?),  Correct facts and figures

Being prepared not to apply – only apply for relevant funding opportunities

Build relationships with funders -  let them know what you do – invite them to open days etc

Social Lending Organizations – Clann Credo, Dublin, Ulster City Investment Trust

Eg – Wheelchair, Victim Support, Volunteering Ireland – No application you need to approach

EU FUNDING
