Are you interested in playing a part to promote Wexford as a tourist destination?

Arising from the report Positioning Wexford for the UpTurn in the Economy Wexford County Council are facilitating the Wexford tourism industry in building a stronger web presence for the county. A central plank of this is the creation of a new Tourism website that will inspire people to visit the county and give those that do visit more information on what's on offer. The site is non commercial and is aimed at promoting the county as a whole with Wexford town being the central hub.

Requirements - the WOW factor!

We would also like to give the public an opportunity to submit photos that they feel represent the best of Wexford and are also currently working with the Enniscorthy and Wexford camera clubs (both are receiving a small bursary in recognition) . The main theme being Culture and Heritage, we are looking for a range of images that will present County Wexford’s unique culture and history. Having some images with people in them enjoying cultural events/attractions would be a real bonus.
