Flight

The 2002-2003 project was entitled Flight, and explored the theme of flying in all its meanings, from flights of the imagination, to things that actually flew, or looked as if they might. Kites, flying machines, winged creatures and beings, wings to wear, were all created during the course of this project. The work in schools ran from September 2002 to February 2003.

Selected works from this project were exhibited alongside the Flight exhibition, loaned from the Ark Children's Cultural Centre. This exhibition is a collection of works commissioned by the Centre, especially for children, from the following artists: -
